Benefits of Not submitting via insurance

As a healthcare provider, I must place a Mental Health diagnosis on all claims for services. Paying out of pocket for counseling sessions ensures confidentiality. Insurance companies can also dictate the course of treatment related to the treatment plan and number of sessions allowed. Paying out of pocket provides the client with full control over their mental health services.
